Unexpected delights amid challenges

The serene onsen experience allowed me to unwind with breathtaking views of the mountains. Each sunrise offered a calming start to my busy days of exploration.

However, the check-in process was frustratingly slow, which delayed our ability to settle in and enjoy the amenities. A quicker system would make a big difference.

The food options were truly impressive! The buffet offered a delightful range of delicious vegetarian dishes that made every meal exciting. The public areas were cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing with a fantastic view of the canyon. The onsen experience was a major highlight, providing both relaxation and stunning scenery.

However, some older items in the room did give off a vintage vibe, and the bathroom felt a tad cramped. Plus, having only Japanese tea available left me craving a morning coffee kick!

We stayed in an Executive Suite and loved it! The room was spacious with an amazing view. Lots of little toiletries were provided, super handy. It was also really accessible for my family. Had some steps to the public bath, but overall, the place felt great. Honestly, I wish we could've stayed longer to explore more.

The buffet meals were delicious, particularly the crab dishes, which felt like a true highlight! However, I did find the wi-fi connection to be a bit unreliable during my stay.

staying at taisetsu onsen&canyon resort was a delight. the japanese-style room offered stunning views of the snow-capped mountains. the multiple onsen pools were incredible, especially the outdoor ones. breakfast was a treat with a wide variety to choose from, perfect for fueling our day of exploring nearby hiking trails.

The highlight of my stay was the amazing onsen experience! I loved soaking in the hot springs with the beautiful mountain views 🌄. However, the old bathroom could use a little update. Overall, great stay!

Just a good pick for a brief weekend stay in Kamikawa with reasonable price. The public baths had a fantastic view of the mountains, making for a great relaxing experience. Definitely enjoy the crab dishes when in Hokkaido.
